It is always recommended to choose the most balanced and complete type of feed, always taking into account the age, health and animal conditions and the level of activity of the kitten, that is, if he is a sedentary and peaceful cat most of the time or if he is an active and playful cat.

Puppies up to 12 months old need more nutrients than adult cats to ensure good growth and development of bones and muscles. Active cats need more calories than sedentary ones, as they burn much more energy. A cat that is pregnant or nursing should feed on wet rations with higher nutrient content.

Cats over eight years of age need to feed themselves with less calorie and high fiber content, to ensure weight control and proper bowel function. Industrial wet foods have a very strong and characteristic aroma, so they are very suitable for cats with upper airway infections, which, because of this problem, have a significant reduction in smell.

Your cat needs a balanced diet and with the necessary nutrients for its phase of life, remember this well when choosing your kitten’s wet feed. Never radically change your pet’s diet without first consulting your veterinarian.
